As vezes penso que alguns alunos não vêem a importância de phrasal verbs. Muitos pensam: eu consigo get by [me virar] sem. Você tem essa atitude? (Espero que não!) Você acompanha as nossas dicas e anota os phrasal verbs, os seus significados e em que situações são usados?

Recentemente uma aluna minha achou vários phrasal verbs que já ensinamos no filme Frozen – Uma Aventura Congelante, campeão de bilheteria e ganhador de vários Oscars. Por algumas semanas vou mostrar alguns desses phrasal verbs – e provar que quem acompanha o nosso trabalho já deveria ter esse conhecimento! (Espero que você passe no teste! 🙂 )

Coby: Oh, yeah! Let me explain. Apparently, Baldwin was brought up by a family of bears, and he is very sensitive about that. I believe they were always beating up on him and emotionally abusing him or something. So, whatever you do, don’t bring up the fact that he was brought up by bears.
Tim: That won’t be too hard!
Coby: And one more thing! Don’t mention that he is bald, either. That really ticks him off! He has been bottling up his anger for years, so when he blows up… Let’s just put it this way, it brings out the worst in him.
Tim: So, we can’t bring up the fact that he is bald or that he was brought up by bears. Is that all?
Coby: That’s all there is to it! Do you wanna see him?
