Heya Tim,
If you don’t mind, I would ask you something about another subject from english language.

What’s correct:
There is a lot of slang words I didn’t know or There are a lot of slang words (…) ?

Did you get it?

I am a bit confused because I thought it was “there are”, but some poeple on internet say we should use there is.

I don’t know who was the flag bearer on Brazilian team, but there is many people who could represent Brasil very well.
