Are you Palmeirense or Corinthiano?
My father saw the uniforms of the two teams, __________ for a few seconds, and then asked…

– Are you Palmeirense or Corinthiano?
My father saw the uniforms of the two teams, deliberated for a few seconds, and then asked…
- deliberate = ponderar
– Which is the green team?
They answered, of course: Palmeiras. So my father said…
– So I’m “Palmeirense”!
And ever since, my father and I (by extension) have become…
dyed-in-the-wool Palmeirenses! 🙂
- ever since (then) = desde então

That’s ok, Paulo! You can still learn English with us here… haha
That makes two of us….lol.
Two of us that are Palmeirenses or Corinthianos?
Palmeirense., of course.
Oh, it seems your father became a Palmeiras fan for reasons beyond his control and, as a result, you did the same. You’re a good son. I believe I’d do the same if I were on your shoes, anyway.
As for me? I’m a Corinthiano. Not a dyed-in-the wool one. I just keep a low profile.
And before I finish up here, let me say you have a nice accent. I’m quite sure you can speak Portuguese as well as English. That’s amazing!!! LOL
Thanks, Fábio! I guess we could say it was “fate” that made me a Palmeirense. haha
Congratulations Tim! I’ve already liked you, and now I like more! I’m palmeirense too! Go Verdão, hehe!
