A friend of mine told me about your site.

and
My friend told me about your site.
My friend – Meu Amigo
Is it not the same?
In Portuguese has the same meaning. “Um amigo meu” and “meu amigo”, I can say like in these sentences below:

Do you highlight only the translations?
Thanks!
Emerson
