Olá Tim! Hoje voltando pra casa de viagem, fiquei ouvindo seus podcasts em ordem aleatória. Eu ouvi esse episódio do “pass up” e também do “miss out” (#387b). Pelo q entendi ambos phrasal verbs tem sentido de perder uma oportunidade correto? Tem alguma nuance que diferencia o uso deles?

  Olá, Clériston. Boa pergunta! O “miss out” é perder uma oportunidade por qualquer razão; já quando você “pass up” uma oportunidade, você deliberadamente escolhe perder a oportunidade, talvez para fazer outra coisa.
