O meu pai pegou um uber / foi de uber para cuidar de alguns negócios ontem. E vamos aproveitar para aprender mais um uso do verbo “take” em inglês para dizer, “vou de Uber”, “peguei um Uber”, etc. E vamos precisar deste verbo para dizer “cuidar de” também.

    Sure. Actually, for bicycle, it would even be more common. “I went by bicycle to…”, “I rode my bicycle to…”

      Why do we say “on time” as above and also the expression “just in time”?

        “On time” is “na hora certa”, meaning you are not late.
        “Just in time” is “na hora h”, meaning you arrived before something else happened.
