Ela perguntou assim:
– And do you think the World Cup in Brazil will be a success? Will Brazil ________ it ______ ?
—–===(*)===—–

TRANSCRIPT:
Pelé: If I was God…
- se eu fosse Deus
Reporter: And some people say you are.
Pelé: I [would] give the chance [for] Brazil to play against Uruguay. [ou, I would give Brazil a chance to play against Uruguay.]
Reporter: To relive 1950.
- Para reviver 1950.
Pelé: I think it [would be] a good opportunity to “revanche” against Uruguay.
Reporter: To get revenge?
Reporter: So who do you think would win?
Pelé: [This] time, I hope Brazil [would] win.
Reporter: Right. Exactly.
Pelé: But now, to talk about the possibility today, of course, we have two national teams who play very [well]. I think Germany is in a very good level; Spain has a chance to come to the final; and Brazil. I think at the moment those three national teams [are] ok. But you cannot forget Argentina, Italy, you know, England… All the teams [that] have tradition to be in the final. But I hope Brazil comes to the final.
Reporter: And do you think the World Cup in Brazil will be a success? Will Brazil pull it off?
- Will Brazil pull it off? = O Brasil irá conseguir realizar essa grande tarefa?
Pelé: No doubt. We had some little problems before in the Confederations Cup; we had a [few] problems; but this will be, you know, in the past. No doubt the World Cup here will be a fantastic show.
Reporter: Do you think Brazil should have done anything differently? Maybe fewer stadiums?
- should have done anything differently = deveria ter feito algo diferente
- fewer stadiums = menos estádios
Pelé: No, I think Brazil has the stadiums. I think for the World Cup we constructed twelve stadiums…
Reporter: Is that too many?
- is that too many? = é demais?
Pelé: I think it was not necessary to have [so many] stadiums, you know; but now we are eight months, nine months, before the World Cup. We have to forget about this; finish the stadiums; and pay attention to the games.
