No mini-podcast de hoje, eu esqueci de explicar a sentença no começo, quando eu disse: “Eu não vou andar pelo shopping usando uma máscara, de jeito nenhum!” Foi o que eu disse para a minha esposa quando ela me convidou fazer compras lá. 🙂 Foi brincadeira porque eu já não sou muito fã de passear no shopping – e com máscara ainda por cima! 😀 Então vamos ouvir o episódio de hoje e aprender algumas maneiras de dizer “De jeito nenhum!” em inglês.

Me confunde este “There is no way *I´m*” que logo vai para o “I´m” sem um that ou alguma coisa ligando ali no meio. porém..

There is no way doesn´t hear a bagpipe from 2km away.

Pular logo para Doesn´t está correoto? ou precisa usar o “to” no meio?

  Olá, Gustavo. Não precisa do “that”, mas precisa de um sujeito. Então você teria que dizer:
  There’s no way you don’t/he doesn’t/you can’t, etc. hear a bagipipe from 2 km away.
  
  It’s common not to use “that” in English when there is a subject. For example:
  
  I think you are smart.
  I like people I can speak English with.
  
  Now, in sentence without a subject, you’ll need to use “who”, “that”, etc. as the subject, for example:
  
  I like people who are friendly.

I listened to the episode #464 and better than learning ways to say “De jeito nenhum” was learned about the conceptTalent Stack by Scott Adams. I didn’t know and I loved it.

The best way to get ahead in your career is to build a talent stack, and in my case, keeping learning English.
