Posso usar desta forma? – If I weren´t coming to dinner, i’ll let you know. (se eu não vier para o jantar, eu te aviso)

    Reply
    • Tim Barrett

Sim, claro! Só uma correção: If I’m not coming to dinner, I’ll let you know. (ou) If I were not coming to dinner, I’d let you know.

Fiquei com uma duvida básica no we open a new class, eu traduzi como nós abrimos mas no contexto seria abrirmos até para perguntar ficou confuso ..é isso mesmo? Pode ser traduzido como abrimos e abriRmos no futuro?

    Reply
    • Tim Barrett

Se for “We open a new class next week”, daí seria futuro. Ou “If we open a new class” (se abrirmos…)

I’ve just came across your web site, and it’s terrific!
And, sorry, but my english is not quite good, I’m still in the learning process… rsrs.
I just have a question… Can I use “up for” to say a “affirmative sentense”
You know, like “I’m up for having a breakfast” or “I’m up for some water…”. Is that correct?
    Thanks man!

Não problem, Angelo. And the answer is “yes”, you can use it in affirmative sentences.
