Poderia dizer assim “ hey, stop fooling around, just get it over with! “ ??? Poderia usar o get something done ?? Tipo, Hey people, let’s have a blood text, let’s get it done !!
Sim, poderia dizer “let’s get it done”, sem problema, mas passaria a idea de “vamos fazer”, “vamos terminar”. O “get it over with” dá a ideia de “tirar do caminho (algo desagradável)”.

We went on two weeks vacation in a beautiful Spanish city called Marbella and we taken an amazing House with a beautiful garden. And was all so nice until the moment I looked out the kitchen window and saw a snake in the backyard out the house. That’s was a big deal! We were all extremely worried and afraid that the animal would be able to enter the house. So, I sad “let’s get the situation over with!” And I called immediately to the gardener who just laughed and sad that snake is harmless and it is afraid of people. I was distrustful and on the back foot(é assim mesmo que usamos esta expressão?), I closed the house tightly and continued with the vacation… unfortunately, not so calmly.
